I Got a call today after working at a production warehouse for two months through a temp agency and I was told that my “assignment had ended”. The thing that baffled me is that the agency had spoken to the managers and higher ups at the ware house to obtain a review prior and I was told I was doing a good job. I made mistakes very seldomly (and none of them were anything major), always did what I was told, never missed any days except for 1 day, and I came in and worked my hardest. So it baffles me that I would get a call out of the blue that I’m “not a good fit”. They’ve been letting people go like wildfire at this place for what it seems like no reason. I get that it’s a temporary position but it just seems wrong to do it in the way they did.
