does anyone else hate having to dress professionally for a sit down, desk job?

I just started work at a corporate office, working handling their advertising/marketing. On days where clients are scheduled to come in, I have to wear a suit and tie. I asked about days when there is not a meeting scheduled, and I was told I could “dress down” and dress shirt/slacks/tie would be alright. Keep in mind, I am not actually meeting with clients, and honestly spending most of my day sitting at the computer.
