The company I work for keep having meetings around how profitable recent projects have been, how it’s been their most successful year as a company and even saying we’ve saved x amount of millions because of it.
Meanwhile, we’ve been pressured to work huge amount of hours unpaid to meet these deadlines for over a year with the promise of bonuses. I found out my bonus isn’t going to be able to be paid out this year due to changes to the process which are “out of my teams control” but “if I keep up the good work”, I’ll get one next year.
These meetings just fill everyone with rage and demotivates them. Zero self awareness, no wonder why the attrition rate is sky rocketing at this company.
