I just started graduate job where I had to do so. At first I thought it shouldn’t be too bad and of course, I was desperate as a graduate.
Shortly after, I realised that all my coworkers were on the same boat and that my commute time was actually one of the shortest there. To my surprise they were all ok with it and a handful were long-term employees. However, lucky for them, they all get work from home twice a week. My role however, did not allow me to do so.
I feel bad about wasting time just thinking that I spend 2 hours in my car each day.
Does anyone here have a similar experience? If you stayed, why? If you left, how long did you last in a job like that?
