I vowed to put my life first before any job after hearing these stories. Luckily we can work from home and not have our workplace be a target. Workplace shootings and thinking of 9/11 makes me exceptionally sad… working and then your life is gone. More people could have possibly survived if they left. Reading and watching the stories of survivors who left and survived against their boss's wishes is just so surreal. If you have any personal stories on 9/11 or in general about surviving after “disobeying” your boss, please share as well. Remember, your safety is of the utmost importance over anything. Just thinking a lot about 9/11 today for some reason and everything wrong with the workplace.
