I am a Dental intern, My compulsory 1 yr internship which i was doing in my Dental School itself is going to end this Month.
I had taken leave for 15 days after undergoing poplypectomy & Rectal Mucopexy, in the Head of department in which i was posted & and was absent due to my surgery, is refusing accept my Medical certificate, Citing there are no rules regarding medical leave for us. I have exams coming up for my Post graduation next month and i wanted some time to study after completing my internship.
Also i am doing unpaid internship, when we ( all the dental interns) asked for some sort of payment , Our Dean refused, saying it's more important for us to learn things than money and that we are in a private college and college doesn't have money to pay us(even though According to rules all interns irrespective of type of institution should be paid)
I hate my college and all the staff.
