I don't want to get too specific here because these people are insane and try to hunt you down if you talk about them online. They threaten to sue, tell you they know the local police, have a lawyer lined up, etc etc.
Basically, I know someone who worked at this dog boarding facility/camp and the owners of it are sociopaths. They don't even own dogs themselves and they claim to be experts at training, yet they lose their temper quickly on high energy dogs while they're playing in camp with other dogs. They've been caught on multiple occasions by employees (who soon quit) straight up strangling dogs, slamming them on the ground, punching them, kicking them, hitting them repeatedly for minutes on end, etc. Everyone's too afraid to say anything but they've been reported. Nothing has come of it. They also delete negative comments and have tons of positive reviews.
What prompted me to write this is recently after a puppy was in camp with the female owner, it had to go to the hospital and the vet told the pet parent the dog had a collapsed trachea. There's no evidence the owner did this but it was while this puppy was in camp with her and she's known for slamming dogs on the ground by the neck and choking them. This poor little puppy will have to live with this medical issue for the rest of its life because of this psychopath. And the worst part is she got away with it.
I'm so worried they're going to kill a dog. On top of all this, they'll go 3 months at a time without paying employees their tips and are known for shorting them. When confronted, they brush it off and say they'll have it “soon” but of course they never do. These people are evil and I honestly don't know what to do at this point as they've been turned in multiple times and nothing ever happens. The people working there are too afraid to film and I honestly don't know what to do.
They have 200+ raving reviews which I'm honestly wondering if half of them are fake. Whenever an ex employee leaves a bad review, it's removed and replaced by a positive one.
