Employee at will

I was recently just fired from a job from what I feel is unjust retaliation for whistleblowing, I live in an employee at will state but I’m remembering now I never signed any paper work at the job so i never signed that form. When I was first hired they just asked for my id and social and that’s all. Am I able to fire a lawsuit for the retaliation
