I'm supposed to be working the summer as someone's “right hand” but for minimum wage
I'm currently working somewhere else until the summer starts, and this guy genuinely keeps coming into a busy kitchen (he's friends with the owners) and complaining to be because I'm not handling the social media
The look on his face when I pointed out he wasn't paying me yet, so why would I be doing any work? It was priceless
He genuinely thought I'd be grinding out his social just because it increases the likelihood his business would be successful and I'd therefore have a job
Meanwhile, I'm getting multiple emails/messages a week offering me summer work
The temptation to just completely F him over and quit before I even start is getting harder and harder to ignore
