Employers should understand that there should be a higher premium for jobs with less flexibility and growth potential.

Non remote job. Traveling for the job. Requirements to be on evenings and weekends. Not being ok with flex hours. All these things account for alot of disruption (as well as cost) in ones life See it makes sense for some elite jobs like corporate law or investment banking. Where ok. You have alot of growth potential. You bust your ass and you'll be rewarded. Meanwhile others have flexibility.Like say a therapist or nutrionist can work from home. Like seriously if anyone puts some thought itno it….why would kids want to do these kinds of jobs? They offer nothing. You can't take away both job growth potential and flexibility. It's not right.

I'm honestly thinking of quitting my career as an engineer cause I just don't see it as worth it when I think about these things.
