I work in retail so I understand how tough it can be and this is not throwing any shade to the workers, but the company on how they handle things.
I was supposed to receive a Coles delivery that was at 1:30pm and I kept on getting notifications that it was delayed, last text I received was stating that it would now arrive at 2:58pm, well it never came.
I called the costumer help line twice, at 6pm the first person said it was on the way, only 15 minutes till the driver would drop it off.
The second time I called it was 8:46pm and they said that unfortunately it can’t be delivered till Friday (so two days later) for the inconvenience caused they would waive the delivery fee and $20 credit for my next order, not this one, the next one.
Maybe I’m being unreasonable but that just stinks.
It really doesn’t seem enough, the order was not a small amount at 180 and I was the one having to chase them for information on my order.
I chose to cancel my order, so I have to go get the items.
The reason I like to have food delivered is that unfortunately I have MS, so it’s a much easier option for me, but I know it’s not their problem and they probably can’t care less.
Thanks for reading, it’s good to vent
