Ex Manager finally fired for being serial hatasser

So for most of my career I worked in the ski industry. It was mostly seasonal, but there's lots of advantages to working seasonally and for most of my twenties I enjoyed the benefits it gave me. Eventually after nearly a decade of bouncing around different resorts I went back to my home one and tried to develop a career. I worked extremely hard in one of the mountain operations departments and eventually gained a regionally important position (one step below the national ski association). My partner and I genuinely thought we had futures in the company. Unfortunately we also witnessed some people being totally fucked over and a few extreme cases of failing upwards along the way. The biggest being a manager in my department grooming women and then using his position to retaliate against those that didn't go along. This included me… The first woman was one of…

My partner and I genuinely thought we had futures in the company. Unfortunately we also witnessed some people being totally fucked over and a few extreme cases of failing upwards along the way. The biggest being a manager in my department grooming women and then using his position to retaliate against those that didn't go along. This included me…

The first woman was one of my mentors. And she was pushed out for pointing out that our departments employees shouldn't be punished for what turned out to be an expensive clerical error. She was right, but because Ass manager had shit talked her so much, one email got her fired. She had spent 10 years in the industry. Next came me. He had changed position I was hired into to make me more qualified and disqualify the aforementioned girl from a promotion. I had HR and the other managers assurance that they wanted someone like me, but as soon as I turned him down and said yes to my boyfriend's proposal I was suddenly a bad hire. I was expected to do twice as much work and share the praise with him and another worker. Annoying as fuck. But I didn't do poorly atp it and those outside our resort took enough notice, so I was given a regionally important position outside my resort and for our entire ski region. Then my boss moved on and Ass manage was hired as mr. manager… And shit got really intense. I was pregnant and he found a new girl to flirt with, but she bought right in for the first time in our departments history. Things changed quickly after that

Right away another girl in our department was fired so this new girl could have her position… Next new girl continued to snowmobile with Mr. Manager while the rest of us did his and her job for her. Eventually some of us decided to organize and write to HR asking them to do something about it (not even fire just acknowledge and address), and somehow everyone was convinced to recant their letters and put as much blame on me as possible for creating a”mutiny” apparently because I was angry for not getting a promotion. I again had to defend that I was being harassed in the workplace and despite two other women's claims on the record I was accused of making it up to deflect how my pregnancy made me incompetent at my job. The following season I was harassed so hard that I resigned while LEAVING AN INCREDIBLY DETAILED EMAIL EXPLAINING WHY AND SAVING IT TO MY PERSONAL EMAIL.

Recently, mr. manager as well as his ass manager have been fired for sexual harassment in the workplace. Mr. Manager had cheated on the girl he had swooned previously (they were engaged and she worked in HR) with a couple of 18/19 year old girls from the department (good 20+ year age difference), and the company went ahead and fired him as well as “voluntarily resigned” the ass manager that sold me down river. Its definitely crossed my mind that there are at least 4 former supervisors and managers at that company that have formal statements that they were harassed by this manager in the workplace and then were either forced out, or resigned because of the harassment. Personally, it cost me many years of my career, and mental health. I lost almost all my friends and had lost a career I had put over a decade of work into. I know at least two other women that still feel similarly, but never felt like pursuing because so many of our friends had been swayed to not back us up. But now that we all have formal complaints on the record, and knowing there are probably more out there, and knowing that they fired him for exactly the reasons we complained about I'm interested in trying to pursue them in court, and make them acknowledge that they illegally retaliated against all of us because we wouldn't hook up with our manager… UNTIL the girl he screwed over worked in HR …

Anyone think we have a case?
