Exposure to Bat Guano

My partner works at youth camp in Northern California and they recently had to shut down because it was discovered that bats had been living in their water tower. Some of the employees live on the site and others stay a few days a week, as my partner does, when the camp has visitors. The employees and children have been consuming the contaminated water for an unknown amount of time. When it was discovered that bats were living in the tank they also found bat guano and dead bats in the water. I’m really worried about my partner. She seems to be ok but I’m concerned she could get sick from the exposure later on. I feel that the employer needs to be held accountable. I suspect they have failed to perform routine inspection and maintenance on the water tower which would have led to the discovery of the bats…
