I'm 27 and sitting in the dentists office right now because I have an infection in my gums due to an impacted tooth. I wouldn't even be able to go to the doctor if I didn't have an amazing boyfriend who's willing to pay for this visit.
I went to college and studied theater under the misguided direction that any degree would be valuable (spoiler alert- this is a lie!! Don't do it!!) And ran up a bunch of credit card bills that are still following me almost ten years later. I've tried multiple times to get a civilian job that would offer me some stability and have been shown time and time again that I'm just a disposable cog that they will use until my value has expired and then be tossed aside.
I'm trying to weigh my options because as it stands I can't get any traction with any job and am stuck delivering for door dash. Requirements for entry level jobs are insane and I'm very under qualified with a virtually useless skill set. My boyfriend's mom thinks I need to declare bankruptcy and my parents just tell me to get a new job. Any advice or emotional support would be really appreciated right now, I'm finding it really difficult to keep going.
