Hello y’all. Thank you to those who checked in on me and asked for this final update. I know there are Reddit users who feel the need to be cruel and disguise it as feedback. This is why I wasn’t ready to say anything . Please spare us and keep it to yourself.

Anyways, my boss came back from vacation and had a lot to say about the situation George had created. An investigation was launched and unfortunately I became the center of that.
My teammates all signed statements saying I was engaging in terminable offenses One teammate went as far as turning texts over. After a week of investigating I had had enough and decided to resign.
I gave an in-depth detail of the issues on my resignation and sent it in. I made sure to watermark the document so they could not change or edit. After submitting it was immediate radio silence. It went all the way up the chain and I wasn’t allowed to contact anyone for information. I guess no one really knew what was going on….
When I went to turn in keys and get my last check, I ran into a high level admin who told me what the original complaint ranged from “Loitering on company property, bullying, harassment, discriminatory acts against a protected status and character defamation”.
George has won. He proved it doesn’t matter if you’re under qualified, play your cards and it’ll work. I won’t know how it all works out and I’m okay with it.
I have since been focusing on looking for other employment, moving, and finishing school. Parts of me remain scared to lose everything. Financial stability is a big deal for me. Seeing what money can do as a child, is one of the reasons I never want to be in a situation like this. However, I now know everyone is looking out for themselves and that’s just how it is. Lesson learned.
