Don't know if this sub is for stories like this but I just need to tell this to someone.
Last week I had a scheduled 1on1 meeting with my manager and I asked him when will my salary be reviewed (last time was 6 months ago). He said that I didn't demonstrate any progress so there was no reason to change my salary. For reference since the last raise I got an amazon certification and were assigned with much more complex tasks. At the end we agreed to have a meeting in a week to discuss what I can do to get a raise… I was fired the next day
