Appreciate everyone’s comments on the original post. Didn’t think this would take off like it did. The company as a whole is experiencing some issues and I was part of a 15% across the board layoff.
As far as my situation, I’ve already talked to an attorney. Think we got a pretty good case. They’re trying to reneg on paying out my remaining unused PTO in addition to trying to gaslight me on what my contract says.
I landed a new job. As soon as people in my industry found out what happened I was scooped up by the President of Sales from another company. He called me at noon and said he had a job for me and he’s sending over the contract tomorrow. I’m going to make a ton more money at this company than I would have ever made where I’m at now.
