So I will give the HR credit in that they did say attendance was mandatory for managers in a small footnote on an email about something completely unrelated from over a month ago. My bad for missing it. But also I’m not paying for Ubers to and from an event I don’t want to attend during my time off when I have severe social anxiety and will have to dose myself up with Xanax just to get through it.
