Forgive me if it’s not the place. I’ve been subjected to both emotional and sexual harassment from my general manager and regionals.

First off, I am a male, that’s important. Anyways. A lot of you said I’m making this up. And now I’m in serious trouble looking for help. Same manager as before. I continue to get negative talkings and berated for showing up at my “scheduled time.” I’m hourly. I don’t make the schedule. It’s literally not my job to look at tomorrow and go “oh yes, I should come in earlier and stay for the rest of my 9-5, and get in further trouble for staying overtime.” It continues to happen. It’s gotten worse. Now I’m being forced to take lunches WITH these persons instead of my normal lunches where I go home for half an hour and see my fiancée and 2 year old son. Why am I being forced? Because I’m “not a team player going home for lunch. The rest of the team wants to get to know you. We don’t feel like we do and you constantly going home for lunch isn’t helping.” Okay, noted.

I took ONE lunch with them. ONE. And it delved into a conversation about foot fetishes, making fun of our chefs and how they likely have foot fetishes. And then because I didn’t speak or say anything (being smart and also recorded this interaction) i was humiliated and laughed at for having the same fetish.

I don’t know what to do as a male. An employment lawyer already said I don’t have a case because I only have one instance on record. But I can’t go to HR because these are already my superiors, who have ties to HR. And we all know HR is there to protect the company not me.
