Friday means work from the bar day!

Every Friday, a friend and I meet at a local bar that has great wifi and drinks. We show up around 1:30 PM so we're not hogging a table during the lunch rush, and we “work” the rest of our day from there. We get some wings and beers, catch up with each other, answer emails, do work on projects, and take ZERO calls or meetings. We have a preferred table near outlets, and a favorite server that loves us because we're low maintenance and tip well. Then at 4 PM, we shut down and usually go our separate ways. Some days our wives will meet us for happy hour & dinner. Oddly enough, those 2.5 hours are some of my most productive of the week. Who needs “quiet quitting” when you can do “drinking work”?
