Gave Notice At Job, Boss Harassed Me About Medical Condition

I just returned to my job after a month of necessary medical leave. While I was on leave I interviewed with another company and got the official offer today, so I gave my notice immediately. I was only able to give a week, as the new job wants me to start a week from Monday. My boss responded to it by coming unhinged and questioning my medical leave, which I felt was extremely inappropriate. My question is, is it illegal for him to harass me about my medical leave? Do I have any sort of case against him for either HR or a lawyer to look into? Any advice would be appreciated. I know I'm on my way out of the company but I don't want him to keep going unchecked and treating other people similarly horrible.
