German Handelsblatt suggesting to cap wages in the IT sector

https://www.handelsblatt.com/meinung/kommentar-100-000-euro-fuer-it-entwickler-unternehmen-sollen-eine-obergrenze-fuer-tech-gehaelter-setzen/28390646.html This very well educated young man is suggesting to cap the wages in the IT sector because these are getting too high for the industry and therefore might hurt smaller/middle sized companies. Especially developers should not be allowed to be paid more than €100k per annum. Being in the industry this in fact a good salary but we also have a full tax rate of 52% and a 2 bedroom flat incl all utilities is easily around €2k in the major cities where those jobs are usually offered. That would mean that someone making this salary has to pay roughly 46% of his after tax money for rent.
