I’m returning from Thanksgiving holiday on Friday. I asked off that day, 2 months ago, because I’d be flying and it’s unrealistic to think I could also squeeze in a shift. Not only was I scheduled that day, but I was scheduled in the morning before I’m back in town. These idiots. Everyone else who requested off got off so no one was available to cover. One coworker swapped with me so that I’ll be the closer, however I basically have to go straight from the airport to my shift (gotta wear my uniform on the flight) and I’m still gonna be late by at least an hour from when I’m scheduled. I’m thinking I’ll bring my suitcase and backpack with me to work to prove a petty point.
