Gold Mine Worker Gets The Gold That Was Stolen From Him

Years ago I knew this guy that worked the night shift in a northern gold mine. The family that owned it would make at least a million dollars per season (usually more) and paid the workers the lowest wage they could. Well, this fella would just scoop some dirt out of the sluice box on a regular basis. He would also share the wealth with other workers. I mean, they’re the ones who put all that gold in there in the first place. And when you think about it; this approach is very consistent with capitalism. I mean the incentive in capitalism is to cheat and lie because the whole system is built on cheating and lying. For a capitalist to call something like this out as wrong is like the kettle calling the pot black. I wonder why more workers don’t do stuff like this, seems damn intelligent by…
