I’m been a long time lurker, reading work horror stories but I am hoping there are people that have good times they to share to show that not all places are evils places that are run by satan.
Don’t think people hate work, just hate to work for bad people. Want to show there are good boss out there that do care and try to make their employees lives better
Mine was my last job I had before I moved. Security guard in an office building. Was during Covid so most of the time it was dead. Sure had times where I I had to pull an unexpected double for someone unable to come in most of the time, able to clock in and clock no problem.
Sometimes I forget to in the master keys. I never got written up, no pay docked, just a phone call of asking if I got the keys and can I return it.
The boss brought in food for us on occasions, pizza and stuff, especially on the holidays that we had to work. Got a pay raise thanks to the union, though only a a dollar or something increase.
Most co-workers were good, no real bad stories about them. In house dry-cleaning for our uniforms. Boss got us access to the building gym for us to use for free. Overall a good place to work and only left is because I moved and not worth the drive to get there.
Where have you worked that you liked and want to go back or don’t plan on leaving?
