I think it's time I left this subreddit. Posts here are becoming so one-sided and toxic. This mindset is not healthy for anyone. Nearly every single one is about money and how much they don't make. Money will not solve all of your problems.
Before I leave I figured I'd leave this little nugget from my time here on this planet. Something a bit more constructive.
-Most of us live in a capitalist society. Learn what that really means.
-There are rules to the game. You either understand your place and live in harmony with your society, stew in hatred for your society and never realize your full potential or move to a different society that instills your same values.
-Money is nothing but a tool. It will not bring you lasting happiness and will not solve all of your problems.
-Find work that is meaningful to you. If you suffer from a workplace that doesn't fit your desired lifestyle, move on. You have the freedom to change employers. Or heck, start your own business, live off the grid. Doesn't matter. (See Ikigai)
-As humans advance technologically, more focus of capital will be used on advancing even faster. This means more and more menial jobs will be automated. Those who do not adapt and serve the future of humanity will suffer. Humans are capable of so much more than bagging groceries.
Understand this though. I'm not a fan of capitalism myself but it's the best system we have right now. Only until humanity is ready to strip itself of all greed and abolish money all together we are stuck with this.
Go ahead and down vote me. I don't care. Wish you all the best.
