Hello,
Just as the title says: I've been fired. I've never been fired before so this is interesting to me.
I was being trained in a family-owned food business. I was one of the many trainees they took on.
But just last night, I was removed from everything related to my job. No one has directly talked to me about this.
I genuinely do get the sense that I've been fired though. If you don't believe that's the case, I'd like to hear from your perspective.
However, I'm incredibly confused. This is not my first time working but this is my first time working in a fast-paced industry — the food industry.
My first official day of working was opening day. There was about a couple hundred people that came in. I thought my higher ups were understanding that I was just flustered because it was opening day & there was a SHIT TON of people.
They explicitly told trainees they didn't expect us to be perfect and I guess I didn't beat myself for being nervous initially.
Now, I just feel conflicted and confused.
Any insight on this?
