Hello everyone. I need some advice.
Got fired few months ago for finally standing up to my “boss” during one of our 1:1.
The issue was excessive micro-management and constant power plays from his side.
This is a guy who was previously my co-worker whom I did not agree with very often – which visibly made him upset on numerous occasions.
Now, I'm interviewing for other jobs and I always struggle to find a good explanation for why I “left” my previous job.
I tried telling the truth once, immediate red flag and interview was cut short.
Thoughts?
