My job has gone through some significant changes lately, one of which is theyre starting quarterly bonuses, and this was the first one. How much the bonus is depends on a couple factors like each stores overall performance and personal attendance. In terms of performance my store is always ranked 2nd place, we can't get 1st because the main store is literally twice our size and only a mile down the road, so 2nd is the best we can do. My attendance has been perfect (can't afford to call out) so I got the biggest bonus possible for my position…. and it was $50. Even though they basically only pay us scraps the bonus was only %1 of my earnings this quarter. What the actual fuck is this? They've been hyping this bonus up for months. After I opened the check my store manager apologized for it because she was horrified it was so pathetic (hers was double mine but I honestly think she deserves more too. She works her ass off like 60 hours a week)
