I am wondering if i should accept a “golden handshake” from my company.
– i am ~50 years
– offer is not “targeted” (Not a performance warning or anything like that.
– mayor company – not a bad outlook in the next decade
– job is somewhat secure if i stay
– very good benefits for current company
– very smart folks in my team / great connections in the current company
– Boss + Boss-Boss is NOT pissed at me – Decision to fire comes from like 5 levels above me
– Current offer is ~ 2 yearly wages
– Odds of finding a new job “Good” but not this job with 100% Home office and many other perks i like
– Deadline to accept: 2 weeks
– “Just” got the job and i am very happy in it.
