I’m working my tail off as a supervisor at a vital/medical-related 501(c)3 and I have to admit that it’s disheartening when nobody recognized the hard work and sacrifice I’ve contributed. I guess I feel undervalued and just wanted to vent. I get it’s a non-profit and I don’t expect to make bank. But our staff has less than 10 members and I didn’t even get a pat on the back, and a raise would simply be a miracle.
40 hours a week to barely pay a mortgage I can’t really afford. Love the workforce!
