Got shafted out of a perfect job

I have been looking for a whole YEAR for a job I can just stick with and not have to fucking question every single day whether or not it's worth showing up. I have been looking for a whole YEAR for a job I can just stick with and not have to fucking question every single day whether or not it's worth showing up. I FINALLY found it, got through all the interviews and all the assesments, most stressful 2 weeks of my life, I felt like I was having a constant anxiety attack.

And it paid off, I was selected, I was finally able to take a breather and look forward to making some actual money and enjoying my work, until I called the manager and he told me the bad news that went along with the good. They had just been informed THAT VERY SAME FUCKING DAY that they were entering a company wide hiring freeze until November 1st. With the possibility of it lasting until January. The manager at least was nice and apolagetic and let me know he'd keep me in touch whenever they opened up again.

I thanked him for his time, told him I understood, hung up the phone, and collapsed on the ground and began sobbing.

Untold dozens of applications, disappointment for months and months, and just when it was about to all be over I get kicked right back down to the bottom.

At the end of my rope at this point
