I just applied to a position that would utilize my college degree. I meet all the qualifications they listed on the job posting- I live in the right area.
They sent me a reject email less than two minutes later.
I sent them a follow up calling them out on this. (Normally I would let a rejection slide but the speed made me truly angry)
They responded that I didn’t have experience in something that wasn’t even specified in the application.
I’m sick of trying to get work when employers aren’t honest about what they’re looking for.
