Had a flase stroke, but I still have to find coverage to get sick time approved

I had a false stroke last night (basically all the symptoms of a stroke with no blockage). I called my manager to tell her I won’t be at work today and most likely won’t be there tomorrow (keep in mind I followed all the protocols and gave the required notice) because l’m at a very high risk for an actual stroke with in the next 48 hours. This woman really said to me that I can’t take off unless I find my own coverage. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem; however, the people who would be able to cover me are already working during my shift. So my choices are basically don’t go to work and get written and possibly fired or go to work and possibly have a stroke while I’m there. Life is great
