Worked at this company for 4 years. for the last year have been working from home as a CAD designer. yesterday was told my team is being deleted and all members are being moved to permitting. we start monday and have to bring in the pcs to work at the office. i am refusing this “offer” and am trying to put in my 2 weeks. but i have no reason to work in the office to learn a new workflow for a week and leave. i told my old boss and he doesnt know what to do cus technically hes not my boss anymore. the guy who told me about the shift in teams is on a plane and cant be in a meeting, and the only person i have is the new girl whos interviewing me, for a position i am not accepting, so idk how putting in my 2 weeks with my not boss is going to work. dont know if contacting HR is realistic or what but my hand has been forced here.
