Help me design this collage better

Hi all, Recently, I decided I wanted to create a collage of images representing all of the various groups in the US that have recently either been striking, threatening to strike, or trying to form a union. I figure it could make, theoretically, for a decent bit of agitprop to show how many workers across so many industries are fighting back. This is my first attempt so far. And it's… Ugly af. A truly excellent example of an eyesore. Lol Graphic design/photo editing has never been my strong suit (I may as well be a boomer when it comes to that sort of thing), and I only have my phone to work with. So, I'm hoping maybe some of you fine folks could help me out in 2 ways: 1) Some advice/tips for making this more visually appealing. 2) Suggesting any other groups I should add that I'm missing, or…

Hi all,

Recently, I decided I wanted to create a collage of images representing all of the various groups in the US that have recently either been striking, threatening to strike, or trying to form a union. I figure it could make, theoretically, for a decent bit of agitprop to show how many workers across so many industries are fighting back.

This is my first attempt so far.

And it's… Ugly af. A truly excellent example of an eyesore. Lol

Graphic design/photo editing has never been my strong suit (I may as well be a boomer when it comes to that sort of thing), and I only have my phone to work with.

So, I'm hoping maybe some of you fine folks could help me out in 2 ways:

1) Some advice/tips for making this more visually appealing.

2) Suggesting any other groups I should add that I'm missing, or any logos/images that I'd be better off using for the ones I have added (I'd like to keep it US-focused, though, as I want people to recognize the companies people are unionizing and striking against).

Below is a list of all of the groups I tried to represent (I've attached all of the images I used, in case anyone else felt like trying something with them):

  • Rideshare Drivers United (Uber/Lyft workers)

  • Alphabet Worker's Union (Google workers)

  • Medieval Times Performers United

  • Writers Guild of America

  • REI Union

  • FedEx Union

  • SWAPA (Southwest Airlines pilots' union; I wanted to include United pilots, too, but didn't have room, so figured the SW one might suffice for both)

  • Starbucks Union

  • UPS Union (organized by the Teamsters)

  • Trader Joe's Union

  • Amazon Labor Union

So, what do you think? How can I improve it?
