I was fired last week due to being a “bad fit” (AKA lazy manager who refused to provide guidance despite my pleas for help.) My health insurance was cut off IMMEDIATELY. I've had to cancel doctor's appointments (just follow-ups. Nothing critical, thankfully.) Currently fighting through the jungle known as mARketPlaCe iNsURaNce and deciding if I can pay $600/month for a mediocre 70/30 plan, or if I prefer to play roulette by way of a $300/month premium with a $5,500 deductible. My unemployment claim was approved, so I will have a bit of $$$ coming in.
God bless the USA, where workers have no rights. I'd quit this shit for good if I didn't have bills to pay.
