Help me get out of this struggle!

I'm having a really hard time with this new job I started last week. I'm already seeing a lot of red flags. For background, I started working as a house supervisor for vulnerable adults with disabilities. They may endure behaviors and we're essentially supposed to “take it like a champ” if you will….. One red flag for me is that there are a lot of higher ups heading out the door…that's turning me off. MANY other house supervisors and Direct Support Professionals as well. Sounds like at least 10 management people are leaving. Another is how my trainer, lets call her Theresa, got hurt at work by one of the clients last month, and the HR director, let's call her Mandy, became incredibly unprofessional at her follow up meeting. Mandy kept saying how Theresa handled being attacked by this client wrong…., Mandy also mentioned that Theresa shouldn't be in the…

Mandy kept saying how Theresa handled being attacked by this client wrong…., Mandy also mentioned that Theresa shouldn't be in the position she's in if she's going to have anxiety attacks in meetings like this. Mandy also proceeded to bring in Theresa's family into this….which has NOTHING to do with her job, may I add.

Theresa's last day is this Friday. She's leaving for her own sanity. She is a very smart and positive worker, and her having this experience turns me off. She's NEVER had anything happen like this in the two years she's been there. Anyway, it's her experience over mine, but I'm still a bit unsure.

Something else I read in my training is this: If a no-call/no-show happens, the staff that are on duty must cover the shift. If there are two staff members, who work the same amount of hours, that aren't willing to cover the shift, they must “Flip a coin to see who will work the shift.”

I've been told conflicting opinions, such as sticking it out for now, or to LEAVE. I came to the lovely internet to ask for options.

TL:DR I'm seeing a lot of red flags at my new job that weren't apparent to me during the job interview. I'm seeing them now and I'm unsure of what I should do.
