Job that hired me is requiring me to buy their uniform and will deduct it from my first paycheck which consist of 2 shirts and 1 apron
Shirt is 15$ ea
Apron is $25
Job is min. wage hourly, I’m in California.
This never happened to me, is this normal?
Side note: it’s just sucks that they don’t even have womens type tshirt cut. Just all same boxy mens type shirts. It’s a nice restaurant btw…
I just feel like it’s a bit much also 2 shirts isn’t enough for me personally (since I can only do laundry once a week at the most)
