I'm a little scared to post, but I am in good faith. The only reason I was able to buy a house was the USDA “rural” loan. Zero dollars down. I would have never had 20 percent. I know prices have gone up way too much since I bought, but I legitimately thought this could be helpful to some people. There are a ton of areas considered “rural” that are far from rural. I lived in one of those areas right between two non rural cities. I'm posting a link to a map of “rural” areas. I really hope it helps someone out there reading. It's still zero dollars down.
