I work for a small privately owned road management company, it's fun, decent work but the pay is literally minimum wage for those of us who work the manual labor and the traffic control, the 2 most dangerous jobs. In the past while asking about raises, I was told that I am working a starter position and that I get paid according to that, even though my job is one of the most dangerous.
Well I had a fun time last night when my paycheck came through, they underpaid me by 16 hours… 16 hours of overtime… that is just over $500 that they underpaid me, now I'm gonna have to go through a giant struggle to get it all worked out.
I'm meant to be traveling this weekend. So much for that.
