I'm lost for words. So many companies nowadays expect me to complete 30-40 hours of work during the application process just to be ghosted later on.

Stop making candidates jump through crazy hoops (like forcing them to do ACTUAL WORK) before even telling them if they have a realistic chance to get the role.
