Okay so I need some input on this interview I had for a small practice.
The lady told me they hold wages during the training period…meaning if I work an 8 hour shift…I get paid for 4 hours and will be reimbursed 6 months later but if I quit before the 6 months…they keep the wages. There’s a checklist I will be following and complete as you go…I have to do exactly what is on the checklist…for an example someone coming in for an immigration physical exam…so I would have to wait until someone comes in for that type of appointment which can be in a couple of weeks or 6 months lol.
I will continue to be paid half my paycheck until I have completed this “checklist.”
I live in the state of VA…are these mfs breaking some laws I am not aware of? I am not taking the job under these conditions because it sounds major sketch but wanna know yalls thoughts.
