Hours were cut when all I have been trying to do is keep said hours.

I’m here to vent a little, and see if this is just a me problem or a job problem through the online consensus. I’ve been working at my job for around one and a half years now (18F) and I usually work a 4 day schedule that works for me, because I’m going into college soon and it fits in with how much I want to make. I come in today to see that my hours have been cut. No big deal, must be a mistake or something to that effect, so I ask my manager if someone is taking hours or what was going on. He says he changed them, but doesn’t give me a exclamation, which is okay because who am I to question my boss about something like that anyways? It’s just the way he stared at me, almost expecting me to understand what I didn’t know.…

It’s just the way he stared at me, almost expecting me to understand what I didn’t know.
Then he decides to follow up and say something to the effect of “we need people that are working all the time on the clock, not people who sit around.”
This grinded my gears for a multitude of reasons. I usually am the one who’s relied on heavily with workplace tasks. I’m the one always asking if they need anything, any help, to the point where I sound like a broken record. I’m the one who helps take on the driver’s responsibilities, and the one who helps when no one else will.
My manager takes that, when everything is finished, and I glance at my phone for a minute to be “sitting around.”
Am I supposed to be this perfect android, capable of doing everything, all at once? Or will I constantly have this image by my boss that I “sit around” and “bring down morale” when I try, and I try, to do everything I can? Do I deserve the hours that I work? Am I too incompetent to learn how to do anything else to help?

Sorry for weird formatting. On mobile.
