How do you feel about having to train someone without getting paid more.

I started a new job about 2 months ago in a field that im fimliar with but have limited experience in. It's not exactly rocket science but I'm the only front office person at a very busy medical clinic with multiple providers and do a wide variety of task and work overtime every week. The current office manager comes in a few hours daily to do their tasks and to give me a lunch break but primarily works from home after hours not during the busy parts of the day. We finally were able to find a 2nd person to come on board to help me which is great and they are nice but I'm the one training them and they have zero experience. I'm so over jobs that require you to train your counterpart without being compensated. How can stress and workload increase so drastically without anyone considering that…

I'm so over jobs that require you to train your counterpart without being compensated. How can stress and workload increase so drastically without anyone considering that a pay increase is absolutely appropriate? I loved so many things about this opportunity and it's quickly becoming just another bullshit job.
