How do you know when it’s time to leave job for a new job? I recently graduated with my masters degree. I had my performance review and inquired about moving up to the level as a senior/how to. My manager said I couldn’t be a senior for awhile as I don’t have enough experience. I’ve been in the industry for 4 years now and at my current company for a year. Soon after the reviews, a coworker who had inquired about wanting to learn/be involved in my area was given the opportunity to get what they wanted during their review. I have trained and given them 60% of my work. How do you know when it’s time to leave? I like my coworkers at my current company, but feel that upper management doesn’t believe in my career advancement or given me any opportunities because they mention that I don’t have very much experience when I do.
