I’ve got a medical procedure planned. It wasn’t scheduled two weeks out so I can’t take time off for it. I checked the schedule online and scheduled it for a day I have off. My boss is now saying that she’s changing the schedule because her schedule changed. She’s no longer working at our store for a day or two (going to help a different store) so now everyone’s (read: only managers) schedule is getting changed. She already only posts the schedule a day or two ahead of time. This time it’s literally the day of the new work week. And she says that the online schedule isn’t accurate and can change at any time. What’s the point of having it then if it’s not accurate? Im just not sure what I can do about it legally if I live in VA.
