I submitted a PTO request recently for one week off in April. My supervisor told me they cannot give me an answer until mid February if it’s approved or not? I’ve been at my job 2 years and this seems odd to me. I’ve seen a lot of favoritism at this company and I’m frustrated I can’t solidify plans until I know for sure it’s approved or not. Should I escalate to HR or just be patient and wait a month and a half for an answer?
