So on Monday this week my I got my boss lets call him mark just for example (director of infrastructure) to approve a reimbursement for a training i had to go to last week. He approved it and sent it to the finance department, so cool ok. On Wednesday I go to the finance department and ask if my reimbursement is being processed and one of the lady's who work in there tell me there is nothing with my name on it, like literally no paper or anything. So I'm like wtf. I go to the director of operations and tell her whats going on she said she'll look into it. In the meantime she sent my boss Mark a scathing email, he comes to me and says “hey WHEN YOU HAVE AN ISSUE YOU COME TO ME AND ONLY ME DO YOU UNDERSTAND??”in a loud and condescending tone. I told the director of operations what he said and she recommended I write a complaint and deliver it to her.
A few higher ups in the organization also told me to do this. I'm scared if I do this I will face retribution (like unfair treatment or worst case unlawful termination) Should I write the complaint? He made me feel real intimidated but the D of O said she has my back if anything happens, it's a really political environment here and I don't want any part in it. Fuckkkk I feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
