About 2 years ago I was asked to help with finding a new director for our team. I didn't want the position, mistake number 1. We interviewed lots of candiates. Offered the job to 3 people who all leveraged the opportunity to advance their own career at their curent work.
We finally hired a guy who turned out to be a complete cocain addled, hooker banging, pathalogical lying racist.
Where did we go wrong?
How can we select a new candiate and not make the same mistake?
How do you know someone is a compulsive liar in 3, 1 hour interviews?
